Completing the mission

Our present has been delivered to Amy.

539102_658343700843360_1595808252_n It took almost 8 months. We discussed the idea, we launched the website, we contacted authors, we submitted and published our works, we designed pages, we printed the album, we arranged the trip, we took off from Kiev, we came to London, we walked Camden streets and – yes! – we bring our present to Amy. I’m an atheist, but it seems now I understand what pilgrims feel on their way to Mecca.

The pack of tiny black birds flown above us when we had come. Their flight was rapid as the flight of a flying star, so similiar to the bright and short flash of Amy’s life amongst us. I’ve felt something very unusual – the peace. I’m still feeling it and I hope to keep feeling it now and then. I never prayed, but it seems now I know what religious people feel when they pray.

We decided to leave it there, at Camden Square, next to the house she loved so much. It must be there, in Camden, washed by rains and dried by Sun. So, we’ve left it in the best place ever.

Thank you all who did it with us. Thank you all who helped us. Thank you all who supported us. Thank you all. And thank you, Amy!
