Completing the mission

Our present has been delivered to Amy.

539102_658343700843360_1595808252_n It took almost 8 months. We discussed the idea, we launched the website, we contacted authors, we submitted and published our works, we designed pages, we printed the album, we arranged the trip, we took off from Kiev, we came to London, we walked Camden streets and – yes! – we bring our present to Amy. I’m an atheist, but it seems now I understand what pilgrims feel on their way to Mecca.

The pack of tiny black birds flown above us when we had come. Their flight was rapid as the flight of a flying star, so similiar to the bright and short flash of Amy’s life amongst us. I’ve felt something very unusual – the peace. I’m still feeling it and I hope to keep feeling it now and then. I never prayed, but it seems now I know what religious people feel when they pray.

We decided to leave it there, at Camden Square, next to the house she loved so much. It must be there, in Camden, washed by rains and dried by Sun. So, we’ve left it in the best place ever.

1235337_658481397496257_1840741258_n And then we celebrated. The day was full of joy and the night was long and bright till the early morning of the next day. It was a real holiday and I’m pretty sure I know what people feel on Christmas.

Thank you all who did it with us. Thank you all who helped us. Thank you all who supported us. Thank you all. And thank you, Amy!

A couple of words from Tracie

The first time I heard Amy sing, my world was rocked. Time stood still for a minute, I got chills, and for the first time ever I felt the music all the way to my soul. It was her powerhouse voice that affected me originally, but later I was blown away by her raw honesty and quick wit. I could go on and on describing all of the ways that Amy impacted lives but perhaps the most important thing she did was to show us that it is okay to be yourself in this world. That true love, genuine friendship, and loyalty do matter. That it is fine to speak the truth. That life is too short to have regrets. Amy was an amazingly beautiful person inside and out. Her legacy will live on as those that love her will keep her alive in our hearts forever. Sheโ€™s a flame on a candle that perpetually burns.

Your fans miss you, Amy Jade Mermaid, every single day. And we thank you for all that youโ€™ve given us.

A couple of words from Vladimir

Dear Amy,

When I met you for the first time, I didn’t suppose it’ll change my life so much. I didn’t know that I’ve found some real treasure when I took “Lioness: Hidden Treasures” and pushed “Play”. I didn’t guess I’ll get so much from your music, from your words, from all you’ve done and still doing. I didn’t expect to find the way and the teacher who will guide me. I’ve got a present for which I could never pay and now I want to do something to render my gratitude.

And I’m not the only person who wants to do that. There are thousands of people who keep sparks of your fire in their hearts. So, here is a modest present for you. We prepared it all together and now we’re giving it to you. May it make you smile.

Happy birthday, Amy!

Thank you for all.

Hardcopy

I’m not sure, but we probably can get the hardcopy of the album tomorrow. Of course, I’ll make a picture and share it with you, guys.

And I’m not sure, but it’s probably been printed already. Damn, it’s thrilling!

Obtaining your copy: just get it for free!

Hi mates,

I’m sorry for “ignoring” all your messages about buying a copy of the album. Honestly, I don’t “ignore” them, NO.NO.NO.

I hope, you will understand me. It’s really very difficult to think about that. I didn’t think about involving “money”, “payments”, “obtaining” and other things in that work. We all didn’t work for any money. We didn’t do artworks, we didn’t write songs for anything but to do something for Amy. So we don’t want and we won’t get any tiny penny for our present to Amy. But what to do to if you want to get a copy? Of course, I’d love to print and send it for free to anyone who’d like to get it, But for now I can’t afford that. So…

Today I decided how I will act. I’m going to put the album on the web as a big file ready for printing, so y’all could download it and print in your local typography wherever you are! So, you won’t have to pay for delivery and you can choose your own printing options (glossy or opaque, thin or thick and so on). I’ll do that after the 14’th of September, so anyone could get it for free! ๐Ÿ™‚

What do you reckon? Would you download the album to print it in your local typography?

P.S. As I see, some of authors won’t be happy to know their works will be available for unlimited replication. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
