I’m sorry for “ignoring” all your messages about buying a copy of the album. Honestly, I don’t “ignore” them, NO.NO.NO.

I hope, you will understand me. It’s really very difficult to think about that. I didn’t think about involving “money”, “payments”, “obtaining” and other things in that work. We all didn’t work for any money. We didn’t do artworks, we didn’t write songs for anything but to do something for Amy. So we don’t want and we won’t get any tiny penny for our present to Amy. But what to do to if you want to get a copy? Of course, I’d love to print and send it for free to anyone who’d like to get it, But for now I can’t afford that. So…

Today I decided how I will act. I’m going to put the album on the web as a big file ready for printing, so y’all could download it and print in your local typography wherever you are! So, you won’t have to pay for delivery and you can choose your own printing options (glossy or opaque, thin or thick and so on). I’ll do that after the 14’th of September, so anyone could get it for free! 🙂

What do you reckon? Would you download the album to print it in your local typography?

P.S. As I see, some of authors won’t be happy to know their works will be available for unlimited replication. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

I’m very glad to report that last two portraits has been included to the “hardcopy” version as well. Beth and Pascal, I was very glad to add them today, because I couldn’t update the paper version anymore. Thanks to all authors who have submitted their amazing works to the album. All works submitted by now has been included to the book, the book will be printed on the next week and I’m bringing the album to London on the 14’th of September. Of course, I’ll be very glad to add new works to the online version of the album, if there are more drawings, poems and songs. 🙂

How can I stop adding your amazing works?

Today I’ve found 7 amazing artworks submitted by Colin Laing a couple of weeks ago. How can’t I add them? And that’s not all, because new wonderful works are still coming in. Can I just ignore them? “No, no, no!”.

So, I keep adding them even in spite it’s time to send all collected works to the typography. I’m incredibly grateful to all of you for sharing your works and your love.

So, I’m looking for a company which will help me to make up pages and to print the album. I wrote a small set of requirements and sent several dozens of requests to different companies. Okay, let’s wait for their offers.

If you can recommend some book-printing company in Ukraine, it will be appreciated very much. 🙂

Dear friends!

Thank you again for submitting all these amazing works, we’ve collected over 200 of marvelous tributes. It seems that I’ve uploaded all of them, but maybe there will be a couple of tributes to be uploaded a bit later. Anyway, the album is ready to be printed.

So, about the printing. There will be at least 3 copies. One – for Amy. Another one – for Mitch Winehouse and one more – for Janis Winehouse. I’ll bring them to London on the 14’th of September and, of course, it will be a honor for me to meet Amy’s parents in person to hand them over their copies.

And I’ve got over 30 requests from people who would like to get a copy. My dear friends, I’ll find out how much it will cost for me to print copies for you too, but maybe I won’t manage to do it without your participation. So, when I know how much it will cost, I’ll declare you the exact sum which we should collect to get copies for ourselves.

That’s all for now. Our project keeps going and, of course, I’ll keep you updated on what’s going on.

Thank you for all works you have submitted to our common album for Amy! I’m sorry for not adding them to the website (it’s a hard zeitnot), but you can be sure that they all will be added soon (I hope to be able to do that within the next couple of days).

Thank you for your aid which you provided to me in settling issue with DeviantART administration. They promised me to lift the ban on the 20’th of June, so I’ll be able to add contributions from DeviantART as well. Most likely, I’ll add those works before the ban will be lifted, but I’ll be able to send my thanks and exact links to authors only after the 20’th. So, if you allowed me to add your work from DeviantART by myself, but haven’t got heard from me yet, don’t interpret it as my impoliteness – I just have to wait for the end of my suspension period.

If you have submitted your work by filling the contribution form, but didn’t get a reply from me, please, check your spam-folder, because I’ve added all works which have submitted via the form and I’ve sent emails to all authors to thank them and to show them the exact link to their pages.

Now I want to add about a dozen of works which have been submitted by authors on DeviantART, but haven’t sent to me. Most of you are preferring me to add it by myself, but I can’t do that now, because I can’t thank you in comments on DeviantART. Several days ago the administration has banned me for sending you “cloned” messages. Yes, I really have sent a lot of messages to a lot of authors of amazing works (as I’ve sent it to you as well). I didn’t want to bother anyone (have I bothered anybody?) and, of course, I don’t want anybody to consider my invitations as a spam. I’ve explained my actions and my position to the administration. and they said they will unban them, if I stop sending identical messages to their users. I promised them not to bother authors anymore, because, as you all know, we’re stopping the collecting phase of the project and preparing to print the Album in a typography.

But that’s why I don’t add your works from DeviantART by myself for now… Just because I’m waiting them to unban my account. Only after it happen I could say THANK YOU and send you the link to your page in comments to your work on DeviantART, as I always do.

I want to do that as soon as it’s posssible, because I want to proceed to printing immediately, because I really can’t wait to see it ready to go to London. I don’t know what will happen when I take it in my hands. So… if you would like to help me a little to add your works, please, send them a message to convince them that I’m not a spammer (my username is melnik13 there). Thank you! 🙂

I’m glad that today I’ve managed to post a dozen of works. Will try to scrape up some time to post yet another dozen tomorrow, on Sunday. Thanks for everybody who’re committing their amazing works to the Album. My heart are rumbling when I feel you all.

Thank you for sending us your works. Nowadays I’m lacking of time to publish it on the website, but, of course, I’ll do that very soon. However that may be, all of your works will be added to the album. If you don’t see your contribution on this website yet, you shouldn’t ask yourself, will your contribution be added or not. They ARE already added and they will be printed. And I’m very grateful to you for giving them to the album. It’s a honour for me to gather them in our book. The book we’re making for Amy. And I’m proud of every page of our book. Every piece of your art I’m considering as a piece of your soul which you’re sharing with this world. And when I’m looking on your drawings, reading your words, listening to your voices and notes of your music, I’m realizing how much has she given to each of us. I know what is it and I know you all know the same. I’m feeling your sparks everywhere in this amazing huge world. Thank you very much for burning so bright!
