Help Yourself
What would you do if you fought some unholy war?
Would you run like a coward and accept the fate prescribed to you?
Or would you fight till its bitter Finalé?
Would it be memorialized in writing?
Can you lose with those you love drunk on pride in tow?
Or do you suffer the fatal blow? Or is there justice presiding?
Do you march on because great scholars and poets say Love Is Blind?
Is there someone for you to see at the end of the Unholy War’s Bitter Finalé?
Do you sway and wander every day you go and fight in this war?
Do you fight five story fires war’s losing game?
Do you regret going to join so eagerly like some child going to play cowboys and Indians with his friends?
Is war the losing hand in your eyes is it Self-Professed and Profound?
Or rather brought upon the enemy’s well-being by themselves?
Are they futile odds surely they are laughed at by the gods hoping to escape the final frame of the movie in this losing game, Not even they can help you…
They bother your heart so you can be restless and be breathless with the ache in your chest where is the dark to cover you now?
Has your blood run cold now?
Have you drowned under the bathed blue light?
Were there neighbors screaming?
But far too soon are we sometimes taken out of this Unholy War to go Rest In Peace eternally
