Of Her Heart

Of Her Heart

Singing from the depths of her inner soul
She releases her truths
Of her passions and discords
Where she has gone and would like to be
Each time you listen
You learn
An education of sorts
One of a kind you see
You cry alongside her tears
Get angry as she does
Definitely an original
No doubting
Always will be and was
Come along on her journey
Discover her paths
The beginning a great place to start
For there you will acknowledge
Of Her Heart…

The next poem – A Voice of Her Own.

The Amy We Love

Today we have a whole four contributions – a whole four amazing poems by Jacki Hooper, AKA ~CreativeAmyCanuckerGal~. Thank you, Jacki for sharing!

The Amy We Love

Such a gem she was
Very lyrically inclined
When she sang
In her voice
You felt the emotions intertwined
Unique in her ways and attire
Her attitude and private side
Perhaps different as night and day
But through it all
She gave her call
Did things her way
Never backed down
Swore sometimes up and down
Pretty in a dress
In her Daddy’s arms she did caress
In truth she did confess
Life wasn’t all games and perfect
But real and often a mess
Now she is watching from above
Forever remembering
The Amy We Love…

Now it’s easier to contribute

We’ve done a little improvement, so now it’s much easier to contribute your work. You can done it in 3 different ways:

  • upload it directly to the website (you need to be registered, but there’s an instructional video);
  • send it to administrators via the form;
  • send it to administrators via email.

You can try it right now!

Does anybody have more ideas on how to make contributions easier?

The Queen of Camden

I know of a beautiful soul
who shared more with us in her short life, as she played so many roles.

Her time here on Earth was spent full of talent and worth.
Some only heard the negative spin,
but those of us more fortunate
were the ones to win.

For we were blessed to know all of the facets of her fractured and tortured body and mind.  She shared her hurt with the world
and used her voice as an instrument.

Her lyrics were raw emotion.
She had the gift of being a brilliantly inspired lyricist.
As I write this, my eyes are full of mist.

You see, as I think of her humor and wit;
how in a world of posers-she was always true and genuine.
A free thinker, a gentle spirit, with a heart of gold- too good for this world full of cold.

Those of us who had the privledge of seeing beyond the facade, will keep her spirit alive.
That voice of an angel will always sing in our hearts and souls.

Heaven must sound beautiful, Amy Jade Mermaid. Until we meet up in eternity.
